The "u" and the "v"s are the same. He spelled what looks like "Cauouco," but that's too many vowels, so it makes sense that one of them would be a "v." Cavouco. The 2nd letter is definitely an "a" and the 2nd to last is definitely a "c." Someone who has studied history and linguistics....was the "b" and the "v" kinda pronounced the same and could it be somewhat interchangeable for the 1630s? If so, what JR said would make perfect sense - Cabouco, a freguesia or 2 over from Rosario.
