On 10 January 1875, in Topo, São Jorge Island, Manuel José da Cunha, 32, single, shoemaker, natural son of Antónia de São José, married to Rosa Delfina 20, single, legitimate daughter of António de Sousa de Borba and Ana Delfina, all native of Topo, São Jorge Island. Witnesses were José Lopes Constantino da Silveira, landowner, and José Vieira de Sousa Enes, church’s treasurer, all living in the same village. Only the witnesses can write.
So I assume she was alive - and unmarried? as of 1875, at her son's wedding ...
