Hi Cheri,
I've been a quite follower of your board for many years. This is the first time I"ve replied. My Great Grandfather, Joao Baptiste Perreira came from Terceira and my Great Grandmother was from Pico. I recently visited both islands for two reasons: one to see where my ancestors came from, but also because I am writing a novel and some of it takes place in Praia da Vittoria in Terceira. I went with my daughter and it was a wonderful visit. While there took a lot of pictures and made a lot of notes for my book, which I am now working on the section that takes place in Praia da Vittoria. One of the things I want to reference is a very small chapel, and I found a description of it, but it is in Portuguese, which I don't speak! So I'm stuck. The first person I thought of turning to for help with the translation is you. Would you be willing to translate this for me, or do you know someone who might do me such a nice favor? I would be so grateful! Thank you! -----Original Message----- From: Cheri Mello <gfsche...@gmail.com> To: Azores Genealogy <azores@googlegroups.com> Sent: Thu, Jul 14, 2016 12:59 pm Subject: Re: [AZORES-Genealogy] http://tombo.pt down again Tombo.pt, a portal, gateway, or Table of Contents to the CCA is working just fine. The CCA is working for me as it usually does too.
