Wow, how cool is that? I guess I came to the right place to post, then! Looking forward to what you might find and who else might have come over with them, since I suspect there are probably siblings that I don't know about that would be great to fill in on the tree. There was a Manuel Mello that my father seemed to be good friends with (both in the National Guard in the 30's and also during WWII, so it would be fun to know whether they were cousins as well. I'll look forward to seeing what you find out.
