My Grandmother always told us that she was born on Hilo Hawaii. I have tired for a long time to find out for sure and have not been able to do so. Her names was Agnes Pavao,born in 1895. Her father was Manuel Pavao and mother Antonia Martins (Frietas) When she was married to August Frietas they had a daughter named Mary born in 1889. Mr Frietas died and she married Manuel Pavao which was my Great Grandfather. I know she was in Oakland in 1908 because that is when she married my Grandfather. I have their marriage License. Yes, she got married at thirteen,if that was her real age at the time. If there is anyone out there that may be able to help it would be greatly appreciated.
