Thanks for the links and the way to get to them. I was searching tombo.pt 
but in all the wrong places (I am such a noob). I will definitely continue 
searching for their passport documents too. :) Can I ask how you found them 
so quickly. It really was just minutes from me posting it seems. You're 
(all) full of wonderful magic here.

I do have amazing news. I've also been speaking to a person at ancestry who 
is a DNA match with my husband. Once I showed her the marriage information 
she identified the common ancestor from her tree (Joaquim's sister, of whom 
I knew nothing). She has all of the the documentation for Joaquim's 
parents. I am soooooo excited and I could not have found this without you 
here.
