I only know of Dutra as a name from Josse van Huerter. He was Flemish, if memory serves me. In my research, I've never seen a priest mistake my Dutras for Duartes. Duarte is a separate, distinct name. That doesn't mean that an immigrant didn't change it or a priest may have erred.
