By-the-way, the Portuguese based DNA projects are NOT with AncestryDNA. They were founded way before Ancestry got into DNA. The Portuguese based DNA Projects (Azores, Madeira, Cape Verde, Portugal, and Brasil) are housed with Family Tree DNA (FTDNA). FTDNA has a completely different view on YOUR DNA than AncestryDNA does. FTDNA believes YOU own your own DNA (not them) and if you want it destroyed, they will go ahead and do so. They don't sell it or do any of the other things mentioned in article regarding Ancestry DNA.
