Debbie, if you haven't already downloaded the Portuguese Basic Paleography
book from the AzoresGenWeb site, do so. It really helps with the names both
given and surnames. Also, there is another glossary of words that are
similar to the Genealogical Word List but a little more condensed. Both are
a must when searching the docs and Google translate is a big help too! Good
luck and I hope you make it to SLC in June, you'll have a lot of fun and
learn a lot too!
