Cheri, My gr-grandmother from Faial gave birth to 9 living children and 2 that only lived a few hours after birth (not even long enough to name them). The great grandparents married in Faial in 1873 but moved right afterwards to the Bay Area area. All of their children were born on a farm near Mission San Jose. (1874-1898) Lynn
