Those of you who downloaded the UK map coordinates "might" have noticed that the data didn't have counties included, e.g. Herts, Aberdeenshire, my personal favourite Clackmannanshire, and so on, so it was a bit tricky to differentiate between population centres of the same name without doing a fair bit of very complicated maths, with lookup tables and so on.
I've now pulled in some data from other sources that corrects this. If anyone wants the new files (CSV, .zip format) let me know. Oh, and it also includes the primary postcode for each population centre, i.e. the first section, "AB19" etc. Mind you, I was very pleased to discover there is only one Stevenage in all the world... I don't know *why* I was pleased to discover it, but there you go.... Best, TW. -- www.video2cd.co.uk <--- blatant self publicity and unsubtle effort to flog stuff...
