Yahoo have also just released some AJAX libraries...

The loction identifiers on the Yahoo Weather appear to be the same as
Weather.com (who have an excellent API)... although it looks like
Yahoo's weather data itself is from a different source.

Subject: [backstage] Yahoo Weather API

Hi All,

As we are all aware BBC have yet to release a weather api but I've just
noticed surfing around the Yahoo Developer Network that they now have a
weather api, which I've just tried and covers Oxford & London.
I'm sure it covers most places in the UK.

More information can be found here

I'm in no way connected with Yahoo!
