The "submit idea" link on the left seems broken (whether you are logged in or not) http://ideas.welcomebackstage.com/ideatorrent/user?destination=submit/ In addition if you haven't already, you might want to take a look at the Ubuntu Brainstorm site:- http://brainstorm.ubuntu.com/ which has the same functionality (if not the same code base). Very early on we were asked for better selectivity when viewing ideas. Take a look at the site and you'll see down the left some of the options to allow visitors to filter the ideas in the database.
