Handy tip that many people don't know about.  Wrap longish URLs in
angular brackets 

E.g.
<http://www.bbc.co.uk/blogs/bbcinternet/2010/01/freeview_hd_content_mana
ement.html>

Most email clients won't do line breaks in it (waits the inevitable
failing of this to work)
