well... but is necessary to stop the backuppc server before to start the
dump?
the problem is that the usb HD doesn't have the ext2/3 fs, but hfsplus
(apple).
Another question using tar method:
using the command BackupPC_archiveHost, I can convert a backup to a .gz
with a command like:
$Path_B/BackupPC_archiveHost $Path_B/BackupPC_tarCreate /usr/bin/split
/usr/bin/par2 $PC 1 /bin/gzip .gz 0 $MOUNTPOINT 0 \"*\"
but with this command i can have the backup number 1 and not 2 or 3 or
4.... because "...$PC 1 /bin...". Exist a method to have the last
backup available complete of the incrementals ones without specify a
number? I need to automathe that in a script.
