I have another problem with backuppc. I have set up backuppc to back up 4
servers. My hosts file looks like:
db1 0 root
db2 0 root
db2_archive 0 root
app1 0 root
app2 0 root
I have created separate conf files :
ls -l /etc/backuppc
totalt 168
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 414 2005-04-01 22:24 apache.conf
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 321 2005-10-16 17:12 app1.pl
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 297 2005-09-22 13:35 app2.pl
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 64434 2005-10-16 16:08 config.pl
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 64317 2005-09-16 09:53 config.pl.orig
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 452 2005-10-16 16:43 db1.pl
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 114 2005-10-16 16:04 db2_archive.pl
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 339 2005-10-16 15:06 db2.pl
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 2334 2005-10-16 17:13 hosts
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 0 2005-08-10 22:18 htgroup
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 23 2005-09-14 13:12 htpasswd
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 23 2005-09-14 13:11 htpasswd.old
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 231 2005-04-01 22:24 localhost.pl
What I can not understand is that when I run a backup (from the GUI) for
any host. The content is fetched from the server on which backuppc is
running instead of the host selected. I suspected the setting of
$Conf{ClientNameAlias} to cause problems, but this is set to undef.
Anyone?
