Yes, just some files or directories are missing.

Are you restoring to "/" or a subdirectory?

Yes, I restore to / But the problem is the same restoring a subdirectory.

Are top-level
directories missing? Or is it random files in sub-directories?
It's difficult to say. I'am sure that some times, some files in sub-directories are missing. But, some times, the entire directory is missing. But, after the failed retore, if I try to restore the missing directory, then backupPC works. In fact, if <<Select All>> fails, I have to select directory by directory (or file by file)
to restore.

Do missing files still appear in the RestoreLOG file?
No they does'nt.

I have done a lot of tries, and I think that the entire restore fails, if BackupPC can't restore
a particular file. Exept this (or these) file(s) BackupPC works fine.
Why, I don't know, but all the files and directories have then same permissions.
