I can't think of anything specific to apache that it needs. It needs to
run perl scripts though a CGI interface and to pass REMOTE_USER in
the environment for authenticated users. The script needs to run
as the backuppc user so it has r/w access to the files. This is
normally handled within perl by making the cgi script setuid, and
requires perl's setuid support which is a separate package in some
distributions.
