What about a combination of BackupPC and Openfiler? Openfiler has the ability to mirror it's data to another server so that in the even one goes down, the other takes over immediately. BackupPC could be configured to use a NFS share on the Openfiler server, and Openfiler could take care of the rest. I don't know well this would work, but it might be worth a try. If anyone does, let us know how it turns out!
