Thanks for the answer, but you mis-read my mail.

I spoke about BackupPCd not BackupPC (notice the d at the end).
As stated in my mail, its' a transfer method by itself.

So to answer to your question: the transfer method is BackuPCd (wich is an 
enhanced  rsyncd with windows openned file backup support. Not yet 
implemented apparently).
