I have a strange problem with the backup of a Windows XP machine. Everything works, the files are getting backed up, changed files are added to the incremental backup.
But: If I copy an old file on the XP machine, it is not backed up during the incremental backup. Looking at the file under Windows shows the following attributes: Created/Last access: Today Modified: 1 year ago So I assume that BackupPC detects new files by looking at the modified stamp. How do I get the program to recognize copied or moved files correctly?
