Hi Ppl

I was running a backup by mounting a share via nfs onto the backuppc host,
then using rsync method via backuppc to do the backup, the only problem with
this was that if the nfs mount fell over the backups stopped.

I changed the config to use smb and connect directly to the client host, I
then ran a full backup of the host, but it has been running for close to
24hours now and seems to have only gotten halfway through the smb shares?
How can I make the transfer rate faster? It is running across gigabit
Ethernet and shouldn't never take this long.

Thank you,

Mark Adrian Coetser
