Hi, I've got a problem that I've traced back to incompatible rsync version on the server that I'm trying to back up. I'm 99% sure I need to upgrade rsync on this server. It's so old that "yum update xxx" or "yum upgrade xxx" never really does anything it just says "no packages marked for update" no errors or anything.
So, can anyone suggest a method for updating rsync on this old server that won't lead to other problems/incompatibilities?
