has anyone tried backuppc with this rsync patch: http://www.quesera.com/reynhout/misc/rsync+hfsmode/ looking at it, it oughtta work. as i look at it, however, i notice that to restore files you need to manually reassemble the resource & data forks, so unless you had a really compelling reason to use rsync instead of xtar, it would be inferior. danno ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Take Surveys.
