Hello All, Just figured this one out. Pretty stupid oversight on my part, but wanted to let anyone else know the fix in case they experience a similar problem.
The original problem was incremental backups would fail with a NT_STATUS_NO_LOGON error. Turns out, I was running an outdated version of samba on FC5. I ran a simple 'yum update samba' and incremental backups are working great now. Current samba version: Version 3.0.24-6.fc5 Another fix I stumbled upon (That can also play a role in backup problems) before that was that "File and Print Sharing" was not enabled on all of the Windows computers. This was causing me to get inconsistencies when running full backups. For some machines it would work, for others it would fail. So, I got "file and print sharing" enabled, which made it so fulls worked all the time. Then, updating samba got it so incremental backups work all the time, too. Problem solved. -Dawn ------------------------------------------------------------------------- This SF.net email is sponsored by DB2 Express Download DB2 Express C - the FREE version of DB2 express and take control of your XML.
