You need to use a DumpPostUserCmd as explained, for instance, in
[http://sourceforge.net/mailarchive/forum.php?thread_name=20070607012550.GC14665%40daleking.org&forum_name=backuppc-users].
BackupPC by default does not keep telling you that everything is still
working as expected, because such messages tend to get annoying and
consequently ignored. If you feel differently, you can implement them as
described.

Well, yes. Or not. Depending on your situation.

That is a good example of why the default mode of operation is designed as it
is, but it's legitimate to have different requirements.
