I'm new to the list and to BackupPC. I'm looking for opinions on the best way to arrange my backup scheme:
I have 2 offices. Each office is going to have a BackupPC server. Each office will backup their own file shares hourly, on their own BackupPC server. (It may sound like overkill, but we do want it this way). Each night, I'd like the offices to back each other up. Should I have the BackupPC server in office A do a nightly backup of all the file shares in office B? Or should office A do a nightly backup of the pool directory in office B? Or should I simply rsync the pool directory from office B to office A every night using a cron job?
