Can you send me the whole XferLOG file off-list? The file just prior to the error is not being extracted (or archived) correctly. I assume it is a large file. The next step would be to run just the tar command and send me the tar file (which might be hard since I expect it will be big). Otherwise, I can send you some debug code to add the BackupPC_tarExtract.
