I was using Backuppc on a kubuntu dapper with success.
I changed to feisty, and I am not able anymore to have it working as it have to.
I am doing backups of localhost.
I get the error Tar exited with error 256 () status.
I also had an error about ssh.
I found something about ssh and sudo, and made the necessary changes and the error about ssh disapeared. But I still have 'Tar exited with error 256 () status' after 'file changed as we read it'. I think it has something to do with the tar version, but I don't know how to fix it.

If you had searched the archive you would have found multiple posts regarding this issue. The tar exit codes changed from 1.15 to 1.16. See <http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/ msg06011.html> and the follow-up.
