The folder /data/BackupPC was proposed to me ( Data directory (full path)
[/data/BackupPC] ? ) during the installation of BackupPC.
As it was the default value, I didn't change it.
In this folder I've got several folders : cpool pc pool
trash
Is it this folder that you talk about ?
So I checked every permissions ( + HOME directory ) and now all folders
which are used by BackupPC are normally ok.
Moreover, I set $Conf{BackupZeroFilesIsFatal} to " 0 " in order to test
but the problem still exists.

Your setup seems to have /data/BackupPC/ instead of /var/lib/backuppc.
Did you change that manually?
Check the permissions on that dir and that the HOME directory for the
backuppc user is set to it.
