Hi, As I'm importing a lot of older backups into BackupPC with rsyncd, I stumble upon a weird problem.
The config is 'rsyncd' to '127.0.0.1' with modules '/etc' '/home' '/var/lib' and '/mnt/backup/1stgraad'. The backups of /etc, /home and /var/lib go very well, as it should. But the backup of /mnt/backup/1stgraad freaks out. BackupPC is able to retrieve the directories, but when file transfers should start, it starts consuming 100% of a CPU core for a while, then doesn't consume any CPU anymore and just sits there (waiting for a train to pass by I guess). No errors, no warnings, just an idle cursor after the last line: create d 755 0/0 4096 Klassen/2d/Mijn ontvangen bestanden And that's it. Any idea where to start debugging? The source of my import is located on a USB disk, but I've been using that for a few days now without any problem. Permissions on the import source are all OK. PS: debug started in console with 'BackupPC_dump -v -f clientname' and 'top'. -- Toni Van Remortel [EMAIL PROTECTED] ------------------------------------------------------------------------- This SF.net email is sponsored by: Splunk Inc.
