Next dumb question(s):

1.      Do I set it in the  master config.pl or in the individual hostname.pl 
files (I have four of them)?
2.      If the latter, I see the $Conf{DfMaxUsagePct} in the config.pl file but 
I don't see it in the web interface.

Yes if I understood your question it's possible via $Conf{DfMaxUsagePct}. 
You can set this value (default = 95) in config.pl or via the web interface 
(server settings).

space it uses (a % of the disk or x GB used or x GB free, etc)?
