hello,
my backuppc always generates an NT_STATUS_LOGON_FAILURE when backing up.
xferlog log:
Running: /usr/bin/smbclient \\\\markus\\C -U Administrator -E -N -d 1 -c
tarmode\ full -TcrX - /backuppc /home/backuppc /media /mnt /proc /sys /tmp
/var/tmp
full backup started for share C
Xfer PIDs are now 4390,4389
tar_re_search set
session setup failed: NT_STATUS_LOGON_FAILURE
.
well if i connect manually with smbclient i have to put in the password
after the request.
or i connect with the password just before -U Administrator , and both are
working.
in the users config.pl SmbSharePasswd is set correctly. I also added the
main standard User/Password in the global config of BackupPC.
so the password should be either catched from users or global config.
any suggestions what i could do that it uses the passwords i've provided?
Configuration Xfer
SmbClientFullCmd: $smbClientPath \\$host\$shareName $I_option -U $userName
-E -N -d 1 -c tarmode\ full -Tc$X_option - $fileList
I think there is missing the $SmbSharePasswd before $I_option ?
Regards, Markus
