What possible legitimate purpose are you trying to serve here? There is no visible difference (other than the label itself) from a user's perspective between an incremental and a full. If you browse a full backup and browse an incremental backup, you see the same thing: the entire filesystem structure--the latest version of each file up to the backup you selected. It's not like a tape where you only see the files that were backed up, and therefore incrementals and fulls show different things. What are you possibly expecting to change (besides a virtually meaningless label) when you somehow magically change a backup from an incremental to a full? You can't go back in time and re-do the backup. If you truly want a full backup, you will have to *do* a full backup. Changing the label won't change the type of backup that was done. What real-world thing do you expect to see differently in a full backup than an incremental? And if all you want to do is change the *label* of the backup, then forget it: what possible reason would you have to make your backup server lie to you?
