That's true, but IF something really bad happens and some (or even one) client AND the BackupPC server are damaged you've have a problem. If the BackupPC Server holds all the backup you have a single point of failure -> bad! > Doing a 'bear metal restore' is beyond the scope of BackupPC as > normally configured. Maybe it's sufficient to throw in some (full disk image) backups using ClonZilla or G4L in order to be able to restore the BackupPC server after a crash?! - Kurt ------------------------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email is sponsored by the Moblin Your Move Developer's challenge Build the coolest Linux based applications with Moblin SDK & win great prizes Grand prize is a trip for two to an Open Source event anywhere in the world http://moblin-contest.org/redirect.php?banner_id=100&url=/ _______________________________________________ BackupPC-users mailing list BackupPC-users@lists.sourceforge.net List: https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/backuppc-users Wiki: http://backuppc.wiki.sourceforge.net Project: http://backuppc.sourceforge.net/
