That's true, but IF something really bad happens and some (or even one) 
client AND the BackupPC server are damaged you've have a problem.
If the BackupPC Server holds all the backup you have a single point of 
failure -> bad!

Maybe it's sufficient to throw in some (full disk image) backups using 
ClonZilla or G4L in order to be able to restore the BackupPC server 
after a crash?!
