Yes, the ubuntu install is different from the 'source' install, so the documentation doesn't fit exactly. After trying the Ubuntu package, I had to totally remove it and install from the sourceforge files (not .deb either) The install went nicely, even though it isn't the 'ubuntu way', it worked well and the documents were totally in sync.
