Hi, are there any plans that BackupPC supports in the near future "ACLs" and "extended attributes"?
I use a lot the ACLs - and for example SELinux is using extended attributes to store the security context - of the EXT3 or XFS filesystem and with the rsync-option "--acls and --xattrs" it's not a problem to preserve ACLs and extended attributes via rsync but as far as I can see when I use BackupPC these attributes are lost, is this correct? Btw. tar has also the option "--acls", "--xattrs" and "--selinux" so it would also be possible for tar to preserve the attributes.
