Either your apache2 isn't running correctly, or you can't reach the host. Is your host name 'widerule' in DNS? Can you ping it?
Can you get to the apache home page with this url: http://widerule/ ? Make sure your Internet connection is active and check whether other applications that rely on the same connection are working. I don't know what to do. I can only assume it's some kind of configuration error, but I didn't really configure it. I did follow some example on an ubuntu webpage in hope that the program wasn't putting information in its right place: http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=797473 Regardless, messing with the files didn't help.
