Rsync memory requirements have historically been too high for this. I tried rsync'ing 100GB on a machine with 512MB RAM and about the same swap; and it crushed the box to the point where I had to power-cycle it. Best thing to do is set up a duplicate backuppc server that independently backs up the hosts you want to have a redundant backup for. -- Carl Soderstrom Systems Administrator Real-Time Enterprises www.real-time.com ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Crystal Reports - New Free Runtime and 30 Day Trial Check out the new simplified licensing option that enables unlimited royalty-free distribution of the report engine for externally facing server and web deployment. http://p.sf.net/sfu/businessobjects _______________________________________________ BackupPC-users mailing list BackupPC-users@lists.sourceforge.net List: https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/backuppc-users Wiki: http://backuppc.wiki.sourceforge.net Project: http://backuppc.sourceforge.net/
