A) iptables is running on the BackupPC server itself;
B) I really think I'm counting the data flowing through the SSH tunnel I
open and in which I run rsync to backup the remote host(s);
C) I was expecting that I would getting more data as INPUT of my
BackupPC server, instead of the actual situation.

May it be that because of the SSH tunnel, I have to read it "inversely"?
