well, yes, but the really important parts are missing: the diff.gz and a signature that we can verify. I take it from the subject line that your build environment was Ubuntu 8.1? Such things should be clearly pointed out, even for a package that is unlikely to have demanding dependencies. And you should really change the package maintainer to yourself to prevent other people from getting bug reports about your package.
