Hi,
What exactly is the difference between __TOPDIR__ and $Conf{TopDir}? It
seems the former one is set at compile time, while the other is clearly
a configuration file option, but how do these work combined? For
example, many of the instructions seem to tell you to make a mount bind
for the __TOPDIR__ in case you'd like to store the data somewhere else.
Couldn't I do the same by simply setting $Conf{TopDir}? Or is there some
subtle difference between the two?
