It has been a few years since I have used Mondo but I think it is close to what your asking for.
http://www.mondorescue.org/ You can create cron job which creates regular images of the server on local or NFS drive. I strongly suggest you test your restore image on spare hardware or disks. My biggest issue with Mondo is that it was not that flexible when you change hardware or you want to exclude partitions created during the initial image. It's really developed for full restore and advanced knowledge is required when you change your mind. It's also not that fast. 10Gb will take under 30 minutes on decent hardware (greater than 1Ghz PC) but I don't believe it's practical for backuppc data. The base O/S would be fine but not client data.
