First: What's happening is that between the time rsync makes its file list and the time rsync goes to transfer a file, the files are either a) actually disappearing, or b) have something in the file name that prevents it from copying, which in old versions of rsync, can include extra dots, apostrophes, or colons. Second: I'm not sure why you're using such an old version of rsync, but that's almost certainly the problem.
