I just upgraded one of my Ubuntu backup servers to Precise (12.04.3). It had been running BackupPC 3.1.0, and now is running 3.2.1. (Package 3.2.1-2ubuntu1.1).
Whenever I run any backuppc command, I get these errors: Use of qw(...) as parentheses is deprecated at /usr/share/backuppc/lib/BackupPC/Storage/Text.pm line 302. Use of qw(...) as parentheses is deprecated at /usr/share/backuppc/lib/BackupPC/Lib.pm line 1425. Has anyone else seen this and/or fixed it? I'm not a perl monger, so I don't have the experience to debug this easily. If no one else has seen this, I'll presume it's a packaging issue and open a ticket on the Ubuntu package trouble ticket system. -- Carl Soderstrom Systems Administrator Real-Time Enterprises www.real-time.com ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Introducing Performance Central, a new site from SourceForge and AppDynamics.
