I login falko with password that was generated using below commands but I cannot connect.
useradd -m falko passwd falko [cid:[email protected]] From: Charles Belarmino [mailto:[email protected]] Sent: Wednesday, October 23, 2013 10:42 AM To: General list for user discussion, questions and support Subject: Re: [BackupPC-users] rsync Hello Les/Everyone, I would like to add a backup client using the procedure below. But I cannot access it using another browser. We have added the user falko to the hosts file. That's the system user whom BackupPC will send email reports regarding falko-desktop, so we should create that user on the BackupPC server now: server1.example.com: useradd -m falko passwd falko In addition to that we must create a password for falko for the BackupPC web interface: server1.example.com: htpasswd /etc/backuppc/htpasswd falko By the way, I already added falko on the /etc/BackupPC/hosts. Thanks, Charles -----Original Message----- From: Les Mikesell [mailto:[email protected]] Sent: Tuesday, October 22, 2013 12:35 PM To: General list for user discussion, questions and support Subject: Re: [BackupPC-users] rsync On Mon, Oct 21, 2013 at 11:18 PM, Charles Belarmino <[email protected]<mailto:[email protected]>> wrote: > Do you have some easy to follow references? thanks > http://backuppc.sourceforge.net/faq/ssh.html -- Les Mikesell [email protected]<mailto:[email protected]> ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ October Webinars: Code for Performance Free Intel webinars can help you accelerate application performance.
