How do you transfer files to/from it for business purposes? Sneakernet? One of the more creative hacks I ever heard of was in a lab where it was not allowed to change any of the hardware on a given computer, but it was still desired to automate (to some extent) data transfer to it. The solution was to get a barcode reader that interfaced as a keyboard (this was back in the PS/2 keyboard days), and use a barcode printer to send data to the reader. Obviously a low-data-rate solution, but apparently useful in the circumstances. -- Carl Soderstrom Systems Administrator Real-Time Enterprises www.real-time.com ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Want excitement?
