It seems to me that for an rsyncd backup the incremental backups use the file attributes to check which files need to be backed up, but for the full backup this is turned off and block checksums are used to check the file differences. However, I can't see what the differences are between incremental and full for smb backups. Can anyone help me? Thank, Phil.
