There is not a third full, only 2 fulls and one incremental. > I have this in my configuration: > > $Conf{FullPeriod} = 27.97; > $Conf{FullKeepCnt} = 1; > $Conf{FullKeepCntMin} = 1; > $Conf{FullAgeMax} = 60; > > $Conf{IncrPeriod} = 0.97; > $Conf{IncrKeepCnt} = 31; > $Conf{IncrKeepCntMin} = 7; > $Conf{IncrAgeMax} = 35; > > $Conf{FillCycle} = 0; > > so, it should create 1 full every 30 days (more or less), keeping just > 1 full. The question is why did backup #0 vanish after the incremental and before the 2nd full was done? > Exactly the same happens on a second client. > > What I saw is that yesterday, it was copying #1 > #0. Is this normal ? Did you read the BPC v4 documentation on how the backup procedure works? It discusses what happens with copying and renaming of backups and the associated numbers. I don't have time to re-read it right now, but it should provide some insight for you. One thing to remember, it doesn't really matter how many full backups are being done, my concern (if I was in your shoes) would be why the backup disappeared.
