Started from scratch another time. This time with XFS and not Ext4. srv2 took 638.1 minutes to created first full. This is good. no rsync errors in log file: 2016-01-22 23:00:01 Created directory /var/backups/backuppc/pc/srv2/refCnt 2016-01-22 23:00:01 full backup started for directory full 2016-01-23 09:38:07 full backup 0 complete, 2912565 files, 2912565 bytes, 1 xferErrs (0 bad files, 0 bad shares, 1 other) As expected there is no "needFsck.dump" file, so on next run, fsck should not run. Actually, srv2 should be in a clean state, if on next run BPC would remove backup #0, there is a bug in BPC. The same is happing for srv1 (backup is still running, "count update #3/5"): 2016-01-22 22:41:19 Created directory /var/backups/backuppc/pc/srv1/refCnt 2016-01-22 22:41:19 full backup started for directory full 2016-01-23 11:59:06 full backup 0 complete, 4628296 files, 4628296 bytes, 1 xferErrs (0 bad files, 0 bad shares, 1 other) Let's see what would happen this night. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Site24x7 APM Insight: Get Deep Visibility into Application Performance APM + Mobile APM + RUM: Monitor 3 App instances at just $35/Month Monitor end-to-end web transactions and take corrective actions now Troubleshoot faster and improve end-user experience.
